About Adam Komisarof

Adam Komisarof, PhD, is a distinguished Professor in Keio University's Faculty of Letters in Tokyo. With a wealth of experience including two sabbaticals at the University of Oxford, Adam has made significant contributions to the field through his three published books and numerous journal articles. His upcoming book, with Shuang Liu, Zhu Hua, and Levi Obijifor, "The Sage Handbook of Intercultural Communication," is set to release in January 2025.

Adam’s expertise is sought after globally; he has delivered over 130 invited lectures and conducted workshops for large companies and governmental organizations across the United States, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Europe. As the Past President and a Fellow of the International Academy for Intercultural Research, Adam continues to advance the study of intercultural interactions and intergroup understanding.
